Philippine Hoegen moderates the public discussion on the conditions of and for sharing artistic research during The Spring Thing forum on 17th June.
During The Spring Thing, from 15 till 19 June, 25 artists and other practitioners will spend five days at Arc artist residency, deepening and interrogating their practices, discussing and proposing new ways of sharing artistic research.
On Sunday 17th June we invite the greater Arc community and anyone who would like to join us in discussing these questions during a four-hour forum. We want to open the platform to different interested parties. What is the role of curators, policy makers, audience, art organizations, institutions, … for new ways of sharing artistic research? And more specifically: what is the role of artist residencies such as Arc.
